These recording were engineered by Randy Camp (University of Georgia Library Recording Services) and recorded live to two-track, reel-to-reel tape, and mixed by Randy on the way in to tape. Each was done in one take. There was no“going back” or“fixing it in the mix”. As such, there are compromises and time took it’s toll on the original tape which became degraded over the years. The recordings were run through a digital audio workstation by myself to try to repair some of the degredation; despite that the performances stand on their own. I still enjoy these songs from more than 40 years ago, and I hope you do too!
